Upper Division Assessments (AAA, Majors, Juniors)

Hello CSLL families!

Assessments for Minors AAA, Majors, and Juniors divisions are less than a week away! All players in these three upper divisions are required to attend assessments to be eligible for the player draft and postseason play. If your  player is registered in Tee Ball, Farm, or Minors AA divisions, they are NOT REQUIRED to participate in assessments.

Assessments for the upper divisions will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Chico Bullpen facility.

Chico Bullpen’s address is 1070 Marauder Street, Chico, CA 95973.

Assessments begin with the Minors AAA division, followed by the Majors division, and conclude with the Juniors division. This year, we have decided to stagger player arrival times for assessments based on birthdates and divisions. This approach helps reduce waiting times, prevent overcrowding, and keep assessments moving efficiently. Please try to respect the scheduled arrival times listed below as much as possible.

If your player cannot make the scheduled timeframes on February 1, drop-ins are permitted between 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM. To accommodate flexibility for families unable to attend on February 1, a make-up assessment is scheduled for Saturday, February 8.

Minors AAA
Arrive at 4:00 PM – Players with birthdates between July 1, 2015, and December 31, 2016.
Arrive at 4:30 PM – Players with birthdates between January 1, 2014, and June 30, 2015.

Majors
Arrive at 5:30 PM – Players with birthdates between January 1, 2013, and December 31, 2013.
Arrive at 5:45 PM – Players with birthdates between January 1, 2012, and December 31, 2012.

Juniors
Arrive at 6:15 PM – All Juniors division players regardless of birthdate.

If you anticipate your daughter(s) being unable to attend either assessment date (February 1 or February 8), please contact Zack Mason, Chico Softball Little League Player Agent, at [email protected]. Each participant should bring their own glove, an approved bat (with a USA Bat marking), a batting helmet, turf or running shoes, and any other necessary safety equipment. Remember, NO CLEATS are allowed at the Chico Bullpen, as it is an indoor facility with artificial turf.

We’re excited for the 2025 Chico Softball Little League season and can’t wait to get started with your children!

Thank you,
Zack Mason
