Major - (Ages 10-12) Players are drafted to teams. This is Little League. Major division is still an instructional level, but with a competitive edge. Player skill level is much higher than that of AAA. Advanced play is faster and pitching becomes more consistent and accurate. Strategy becomes an integral part of the game. Even though exposure to all positions is encouraged, at this level kids will start to play at limited positions. Scores are kept, but no team standings. Post season playoffs, TOC’s, and All-Stars; the Little League World Series is the culmination of Tournament play. 10 year olds are eligible for this division, but are required to pass the assessment in order to play up.
